Kids Need Heroes Annual Fund
The Rauner Family YMCA is a charitable organization and social service provider. In addition to membership and program fees, the Rauner Family YMCA relies on support from the United Way, private foundations, corporation and donations from the community and members to help support our programs and services to children, adults and entire families in our community through the Kids Need Heroes fund. Our promise is to never turn anyone away for their inability to pay.
The YMCA’s Kids Need Heroes program makes it possible for children, adults and entire families to obtain membership and belong to Rauner Family YMCA’s programs by providing financial support during times of need. We have a responsibility to the community, but especially to the children. These contributions allow children a chance to learn positive character values while experiencing a variety of sports programs and challenge-education activities.
